Concord rolls past Memorial

Entering the game with just one win on the season, Concord went on the road and defeated Manchester Memorial, 74-64, on Tuesday night.

The Crimson Tide were led by a combined 46 points from Alain Twite (26) and Japhe Nduwayo (20). Brett Tuttle and Sammy Iranzi also both netted double digits for Concord with 16 and 10, respectively.

Memorial was paced by 12 points apiece from Jack Brooks and Joel Gomez and 11 from Bory Bory.

With the win, the Tide improve to 2-12 on the season, while the Crusaders fall to 6-9.

Bishop Guertin knocks off Manchester Memorial

The Bishop Guertin boys went on the road and pulled of an upset in Division I as they won at Manchester Memorial on Friday night, 58-49.

The Cardinals were led by 12 points from Connor McGowan and Matt Chau, while Eli Youssef and Sam Woodward added 10. The Crusaders were paced by 18 opints from Bory Bory and 11 from Christian Bilolo.

With the win, BG improves to 2-6, while Memorial falls to 5-2.

Manchester Memorial closes out Goffstown

Manchester Memorial outscored host Goffstown 17-10 in the 4th quarter to pull away to a 57-47 victory on Friday night.

The Crusaders were led by a trio of double-digit scorers: Jack Brooks (15), Devin Lavallee (14) and Christian Bilolo (10). The Grizzlies were paced by Braeden Malley’s 13 points.

With the win, Memorial improves to 4-1 on the season, while Goffstown falls to 2-3.

Trinity escapes Memorial with 2-point win

The Trinity Pioneers went on the road and escaped Manchester Memorial with a 66-64 victory on Tuesday night.

With the game tied at 61-61 with 30 seconds on the clock, Trinity’s Shawn O’Neil and Memorial’s Jack Brooks traded three pointers on back-to-back possessions just 10 seconds apart to tie the game again at 64-64. Trinity’s Jordan Torres then drove to the basket and was fouled with 10 seconds left. He went 1-for-2 from the line and that proved to be the difference.

The Pioneers (3-2) handed the Crusaders (3-1) their first loss on the young season.

Leading the way for Trinity was O’Neil with 20 points, while Evan Dunker (16) and Kevin Doherty (11) both added double digits. Memorial was paced by 16 points from Bory Bory, 13 from Brooks and 12 from Christian Bilolo.

Bedford breezes past Memorial

The Bedford girls held host Manchester Memorial to just 11 points over the final three quarters to breeze to a 71-22 victory on Friday night.

The Bulldogs were led by a game-high 21 points from Lyla Stein, with Sarah Muir and Kate Allard chipping in with 10 points apiece. The Crusaders were paced by 9 points from Torle Adumene.

With the win, Bedford improves to 2-0 on the season, while Memorial falls to 0-2.

Manchester Memorial downs Nashua South

The Manchester Memorial boys opened the 2023-24 season with a 79-71 victory over visiting Nashua South on Tuesday night.

The Crusaders were led by a trio of double-figure scorers in Bory Bory (26), Jack Brooks (15) and Christian Bilolo (10). Josh Caruso pumped in a game-high 31 points to pace the Panthers, while Zac Castonguay added 23.
