NASHUA, NH – In a rematch of last season’s Division I title game, Pinkerton once again came out on top with a 78-66 victory over Nashua North on Friday night in the season opener for both teams.
North led after one, 14-13, but Pinkerton used a 25-point second quarter to take a nine-point lead to half and that frame proved to be the difference. The two squads play nearly even in the second half and the Astros came away with the 12-point win.
Pinkerton was led by Brady Sullivan’s 20 points, while Josh Phanor (19), Ryan Bonilla (18) and Wilson Youssef (14) all netted double-figures as well. The Titans got a game-high 27 points from Robinson Rodriguez and 21 from Alize Cortez-Roig
