MANCHESTER, NH – Saint Anselm returned to action after the holiday season and dropped a 97-74 decision at home to Assumption on Thursday night.
The Hawks were led by 15 points from Josh Morissette and 10 apoiece from Sean McCarthy and Juju Ramirez. The Greyhounds featured five players in double digits with Njavan Stewart leading the way with 18.
With the loss, Saint Anselm falls to 7-5 overall and 3-3 in Northeast-10 Conference play. Assumption improves to 10-2 on the season and a perfect 5-0 in league action.
