FARMINGTON, NH – Farmington scored 16 more points against defensive-minded Newmarket than any other team this season as the Tigers came away with a convincing 48-28 victory over the one-loss Mules on Tuesday night.

The former Southeastern League foes played a tight first quarter that saw Farmington lead 10-8, but after that, the Tigers controlled the game on both ends of the floor.

Farmington held Newmarket to just three third-quarter points to take a 14-point lead to the fourth quarter and rolled to the victory.

Freshman Shaylee DiPrizio led all scorers with a game-high 14 points for the Tigers, while Madi Ricker and Zoey Johnson added 11 points apiece and Anna Cardinal chipped in with eight. Kaya Dobberstein paced the Mules with nine points.

With the win, The Tigers improve to 7-3 on the season, while the Mules fall to 8-2.
