HUDSON, NH – Merrimack erupted in the fourth quarter, scoring 22 points, en route to 56-44 win over Alvirne on Friday night.
The Tomahawks came away with a much needed win in their push for the playoffs, after trailing 41-34 after three frames. Noah Morrison and Brody Towle would come in clutch in the fourth, each scoring seven.
Towle would finish with seven, while Ryan Elliot pumped in a team-high 19 and Morrison finished with 15.
Sammy Dewitt led the Broncos with a team-high 17 points and now sits 16 away from the 1000th of his career. Runningmate Garrett Hall added 12 of his own.
With the win, Merrimack improves to 7-8 and Alvirne drops to 10-5.
