LACONIA, NH – Top-seeded Laconia outscored No. 8 Pelham by nine in the second half to pull away to a 61-48 victory in quarterfinal action of the Division II state tournament on Saturday.
Macy Swormstedt led all scorers with a game-high 27 points for the Sachems, while Madeline Mousseau added 14.
The Pythons were paced by 19 points from Ava Milley and 10 from Addie Breault.
Laconia advances to take on No. 4 Oyster River in the state semifinal at Pinkerton Academy on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
