Second-half surge sends Gilford past Prospect Mountain

GILFORD, NH – Gilford used a 39 point second half to stay perfect at home and come away with a 68-49 victory over Prospect Mountain on Friday night. 

Brendan Baldi scored a season-high 25 points to lead all scorers for the Golden Eagles, while Mark Uicker (12), Henry Sleeper (10) and Cooper Perkins (10) all added double-digits.

Freshman Colby Whitehouse pumped in a career-high 22 points in the loss for the Timberwolves.

With the win, Gilford improves to 7-1 on the season, while Prospect had its five-game win streak snapped and now sit at 5-4.
