ALBANY, NY – The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences pulled off a close victory against visiting NHTI, 80-78, on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Ezekiel McCoy (Franklin) came off the bench and sparked the comeback with four second half three-point shots to erase a 16-point deficit. He helped put the Lynx in a position to win the game, however, freshman forward Mark Lual’s three-point attempt bounced off the back rim as time expired.

The Lynx were paced by a game-high 20 points from freshman guard DJ Brown. Freshman forward Isaiah Ayers (15 points), McCoy (13) and freshman center Isaac YnFante (10) added double-digits for NHTI as well.

The Lynx struggled from the line as they only connected on 61.1% of their free throws (11-18) which proved to be costly for the team in a close game.

With the loss, the Lynx fell to 0-9 in the Yankee Conference and 3-9 overall.
