Bedford sinks South, moves to top of D-I

BEDFORD, NH – Bedford pushed its win streak to sixth and vaulted to the top of the Division I standings with a 68-58 win over visiting Nashua South on Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs were led by 21 points from Logan O’Connell, Wiji Dak added a season-high 17 points and Landon Ellsmore (13) and Connor O’Rourke (11) rounded out the double figure scoring.

Josh Caruso poured in a game-high 38 points to lead the Panthers, draining seven triples. Caruso is currently the top scorer in the division, averaging 27 points per game.

With the win, Bedford jumps to 11-2, while Nashua South drops to 9-4.
