Red Raiders fast start leads to win at Winnisquam

WINNISQUAM, NH – Belmont went on the road and defeated Winnisquam on Tuesday night, 56-34.

Belmont rode the momentum from a 31-14 first half to carry them to victory.

Bailey Perkins set the pace for Belmont with 12 points. Lyla McSheffrey scored 10 points as well. It was a true team effort from the Red Raiders in this one however as they had 10 players register in the scoring column.

The Bears were led by an outstanding performance from Caidyn Carter. She scored 26 of the club’s 34 points, scoring in a variety of ways, including hitting three three-point field goals, and getting to the free throw line 11 times, converting 9 of the attempts.

The Red Raiders push their winning streak to 4 games and find themselves at 9-8 for the season with one game remaining on their schedule. Winnisquam falls to 3-11 with the loss. They have two games left for the season.
