MANCHESTER, NH – Behind a career-high 28 points from Kurtis Henderson, including the 1000th of his career, SNHU knocked off Assumption, 83-82, in double overtime on Tuesday night.
Assumption had a last-second put-back waived off that would have won the game, but the follow came just after time expired.
Jordan Brathwaite (16 points), Royce Williams (15) and Paul Green (10) all netted double digits for the Penmen as well.
With the victory, SNHU improves to 14-8 overall and 10-6 in Northeast-10 Conference action.
