Fourth-quarter flurry sends Lebanon past Hollis-Brookline

HOLLIS, NH – Lebanon traveled to Hollis-Brookline on Tuesday night in a battle for positioning in the girls Division II playoffs. After a hard-fought first three quarters, the visiting Raiders were able to pull out a 56-47 win, outscoring the Cavaliers 23-8 in the fourth quarter.

Lebanon was led by 16 and points from Cathryn Batchelder and Summer Crowell, respectively. Emily Tebbetts of Hollis-Brookline was the only double-digit scorer for them with 15.

With the win, Lebanon sits at 8-6 and ninth in the standings, while Hollis-Brookline falls
to 8-8 and currently 10th in the playoff rankings.

The Raiders travel to Hanover tonight for their next outing against the 3-12 Bears. The Cavaliers await a tough road matchup against 11-4 Merrimack Valley, who is currently sixth in Division II.
