NEWMARKET, NH – No. 4 Newmarket led throughout in a 41-12 win over No. 13 Hinsdale in first round action of the Division IV state tournament on Tuesday night.
The 2024 runner-up jumped out to a 25-4 lead at halftime over the visiting Pacers and never looked back.
Amaya Beckles scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Mules, while Gemma Doty scored nine to lead the visitors.
Newmarket will host No. 12 Moultonborough in quarterfinal action on Friday night.
Hinsdale ends its season with an 8-11 record.
