BOW, NH – No. 3 Kearsarge is headed to the Division III title game thanks to a 52-33 victory over No. 2 Mascoma Valley on Wednesday night in semifinal action at Bow High School.
The Cougars used a 22-9 first quarter to set the tone and controlled the game throughout to come away with the win. Eli Whipple led all scorers with 24 points, including 15 in the first quarter surge, and Noah Whipple added 10. The Royals were paced by Tanner Moulton’s 14 points.
Kearsarge advances to the championship to take on top-seeded Belmont on Saturday at 4:00 pm at Keene State College.
With the win, the Cougars improve to 19-2 on the year. The Royals season comes to an end at 18-2.
