CONCORD, N.H. – NHTI went stride-for-stride with Washington County Community College through a 38–38 first half, but the visitors pulled away late to hand the Lynx a 97–90 loss on Saturday night at the Dr. Goldie Crocker Wellness Center.
Freshman Demery Hadges (Farmington, N.H./Farmington) led the way with a team-high 20 points, while senior Mossyah Nembhard followed with 17. Freshman AJ Richardson added 16, fellow freshman Christian Forsythe (Newport, N.H./Newport) chipped in 12, and senior Elie Guirand rounded out the double-figure scoring with 11.
Despite the balanced effort, Washington erupted for 59 points after halftime to outpace NHTI down the stretch and seal the win.
