After last night’s huge semifinal victory over Coe-Brown at the 42nd Annual Mike Lee Holiday Basketball Bash, the Concord Christian Kingsmen probably need no introduction. Regardless, it’s time to officially Meet the Kingsmen who will compete for the title tonight at the 42nd Annual Mike Lee Holiday Basketball Bash.

While the big fella Isaac Jarvis garners tons of attention by opposing defenses and the cameras, rightfully so, the Kingsmen have a roster full of weapons that appear to make Concord Christian the team to beat in Division IV. Juniors Aiden Duffy and Ethan Young handle the business in the backcourt and freshman phenom Brode Frink is a superstar in the making.

Let’s meet head coach Eric Heizer’s Kingsmen…

A quick look at the Concord Christian Academy girls roster and you might think the Kingsmen are a small Division IV JV team. Head coach Rebecca Carlile’s squad features four 8th graders, two freshmen, two sophomores and just one junior and one senior. But let us tell you, these girls are taking D-IV by storm with one of the most impressive brands of basketball you’ll see in the state.

A full-court press and defense pressure combined with uptempo offense and a nearly flawless fast break, the youthful Kingsmen have put the entire division on notice just five games into the season. CCA is 5-0 to start the 2021-22 campaign, not counting their two victories at the 42nd Annual Mike Lee Holiday Basketball Bash so far, with an average margin of victory of 32.8 points per game (PPG). The Kingsmen are holding teams to just 16.6 PPG as well.
