Nashua North defeated crosstown rival Nashua South, 54-47, on Sunday afternoon in front of a full house at Belanger Gym. Trevor Labrecque led the Titans with a game-high 23 points, while Zac Castonguay paced the Purple Panthers with 16 points and Josh Caruso added 12.

Bishop Guertin rolls past Salem

Bishop Guertin led by just one after the first quarter, 16-15, but then turned it on as the Cardinals rolled to an 80-43 victory over host Salem on Friday night.

Luke Anderson paced BG with a game-high 17 points, while Matt Santosuosso (15) and Logan Lowney (14) chipped in with double figures as well. The Blue Devils were led by 12 points from Zack Carrien.

Langlois tallies 500th win as West downs MV

Manchester West jumped out to a 17-8 lead after the first quarter and hung on for a 61-54 victory over visiting Merrimack Valley on Tuesday night. The victory marked the 500th career win for West head coach John Langlois.

Max Shosa poured in 27 points, while Angel Castro (14) and Aiden Scott Beaulac (10) both netted double figures as well for the Blue Knights. Brandon Dukette pumped in 27 points as well for the Pride, while Buddy Eddy added 14.

West has now won four-straight and improves to 7-2 on the season, while MV snapped a three-game win streak and falls to 8-3.

Spartans defeat Generals

Pembroke Academy improved to 7-1 on the season with a 69-54 victory over visiting John Stark in Division II action on Monday night.

The Spartans were led by a game-high 21 points from Josh Pilotte, 15 from Joe Fitzgerald and 12 from Mike Strazzeri. Dylan Grivois paced the winless Generals (0-7) with 13 points, while Donnie White (11) and Abe Twomey (10) also netted double figures.

Next up for Pembroke is a big showdown with undefeated Souhegan on Friday night in Pembroke.

Saints down Cougars on the road

In a meeting between two of the top teams in Division III, St. Thomas went on the road and defeated Campbell, 76-62, on Thursday night.

A.J. Reinertson netted 26 points and Brady Rogers added 21 to pace the Saints to the victory. Will Mollica chipped in with 14.

The Cougars were led by a game-high 31 points from Colton Martel, while Austin McHugh tallied 12.

St. Thomas improves to 6-1 on the season, while Campbell falls to 6-3.

Farmington handles shorthanded Newmarket

The Farmington boys improved to an impressive 9-1 on the season with a 59-42 victory at Newmarket on Wednesday night.

The game was never really in question as the Mules were playing shorthanded with a slew of players out, most notably Baris Fortier and Jaron LaBranche.

The Tigers didn’t mess around though as they came out the gates firing, winning the first quarter 14-7, and took a 30-12 lead to the half. Brian Boisvert once again led Farmington with 15 points, while Cody Brazee (14) and Jordan Berko (12) chipped in with double-digits.

Parker Sweitzer picked up the slack for the Mules with 22 points to lead Newmarket who drops their third-straight and falls to 4-4 on the season. The good news for the Mules is Fortier, who’s been out since an injury in their third game of the season, looks to be on the mend and ready to return soon.

Falcons lock down Bears

The Bow Falcons avenged their loss in last season’s Division II girls title game with a 35-23 victory over visiting Hanover on Tuesday night.

The Falcons defense was stingy to say the least as they held the Bears to just 12 points through three quarters of play to come away with their fifth-straight victory to open the season. Hanover has now dropped two-in-a-row to fall to 4-2.

Juliette Tarsha pumped in a game-high 17 points, including four first-half threes, to lead the Falcons to the victory, while Alex Larrabee added 12. Sydney McLaughlin paced Hanover with 11.

The Romike Report: Profile rolls past Lisbon

In his final Romike Report of the season, Andy Romike just had to see Profile in action one more time. Check out the highlights of the Patriots win over Lisbon on Wednesday night and postgame interview with Josh Robie, Alex Leslie and head coach Mitchell Roy.

Manchester Memorial survives Merrimack

After starting the season with two close losses, Manchester Memorial recorded its first win of the season with a thrilling 56-55 victory over visiting Merrimack on Thursday night.

It was a back and forth affair that saw the lead change hands four times in the final two minutes. Abdalha Ramadhani’s jump hook in the lane proved to be the game winner for the Crusaders, who improve to 1-2 on the season. Ramadhani led Memorial with a team-high 15 points, while teammates Kellen Kay (11) Devin Lavallee (10) chipped in with double-digits as well.

The Tomahawks (2-2) were led by a game-high 16 points from Isaac Infante and 14 points from Luke Desfosses.
