Gilford jumped out to a 9-0 lead in under two minutes of action and cruised to a 62-43 win at St. Thomas on Monday night. The Golden Eagles improve to a perfect 5-0 on the season, while the loss was the Saints first, dropping them to 3-1 on the year.
Isaiah Reese led Gilford with a game-high 20 points, while Jalen Reese and Riley Marsh chipped in with 15 points apiece. St. Thomas was paced by Reece Rogers’ team-high 15 points.
Both teams return to action on Friday as the Golden Eagles head to Somersworth (3-1) and the Saints are at Berlin (0-6).
