#5 Keene State starts slow, finishes strong versus Plymouth State

PLYMOUTH – The fifth-ranked Keene State men trailed by as many as nine points in the first half before flexing their Division III muscle to pull away to an 83-58 victory over in-state foe Plymouth State at Foley Gymnasium on Wednesday night.

Ocatavio Brito pumped in a game-high 30 points for the Owls, while teammates Jeff Hunter (15 points) and Mason Jean Baptiste (10) also tallied double-figures. Pacing the Panthers was Torran Bosworth (20), Elijah Swanson (12) and Kyler Bosse (10).

Bosse etched his name in the Plymouth State annals as his jumper with 7:25 left in the first half gave him 1,000 for his career. The Manchester, N.H. native becomes the 35th player in school history to reach the milestone.

With the victory, Keene improves to 8-1 on the season, while Plymouth falls to 4-5. Next up, the Owls host #12 Tufts on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
