Stevens erased a nine-point halftime deficit to open the season with a 50-42 victory over visiting Fall Mountain on Monday night.
Devonte Thompson led the Cardinals with 14 points, all coming in the second half, while Tyson Patch netted a team-high 14 points for the Wildcats.
