Undefeated Conant kept its win streak alive as the Orioles survived a scare at Campbell on Friday night in Litchfield, 40-38.
In a hotly contested game throughout, Conant took a 28-26 lead to the half. Defense was the name of the game in the third quarter as the Orioles held the Cougars scoreless and hung on for the victory.
Manny Hodgson led Conant with 13 points, while Jordan Nagle added 12. Campbell was led by a game-high 15 points from Tucker Matthews and 11 from Jashawn Hawkins.
With the win, Conant improves to a division-best 16-0, while Campbell falls to 7-7.
