GROVETON, NH – Delaney Whiting and Makaylyn Kenison combined for 42 points as the Groveton Eagles soared past visiting Lin-Wood, 60-16, in the season opener for both squads on Friday night.
Whiting, the 2024 NHBCO Division IV Player of the Year, started off her junior season with 22 points, including six three pointers, in just three quarters of action, while Kenison added 20. The Lumberjacks were led by Kiley Clermont’s 9 points.
