FARMINGTON, NH – Groveton went on the road and earned a thrilling 50-48 overtime victory at Farmington on Friday night.
The Tigers led for the first 26 minutes of the game, but the Eagles outscored Farmington 13-8 in the fourth quarter to force overtime.
Groveton was led by 24 points from 2024 Division IV Player of the Year Delaney Whiting. Makalyn Kenison added 11 points.
The Tigers were paced by 17 points from Madi Ricker, 13 from Shaylee DiPrizio and 12 from Zoey Johnson.
With the win, the Eagles improve to 8-1 on the season, while Farmington falls to 6-3.
