PITTSBURG, NH – Pittsburg-Canaan swept the visiting Nute Rams on Friday night with the boys winning 64-38 and the girls victorious 58-29.
On the boys side, Pittsburg-Canaan got out to a big first half lead and never looked back. They were led by Daemon Jaimes who had a huge night, pouring in 27 points. He was relentless in getting to the line sinking 12 free throws. Drew Pettit added 16 points and Joey Cristoforo chipped in with 14.
The Rams were led in the scoring department by Jackson LaFogg with 12 points.
With the win, the Yellow Jackets move to 5-3, while Nute falls to 2-8 with the loss.
On the girls side, Alyvia James, Sienna Grondin and Ella Gilbert all scored 10 points for the Yellow Jackets. The Rams were paced by six points from Siena Picard and Taylin Meehan.
Pittsburgh-Canaan improved to 5-3 in the victory and Nute slips to 0-9.
