COLEBROOK, NH – Groveton went on the road and completed the North Country sweep at Colebrook on Friday night. The Eagle girls won 62-49, while the boys were victorious 64-58.
On the girls side, Makalyn Kenison (20 points) and Delaney Whiting (16) combined for 36 points to pace Groveton. Colebrook was led by 19 points from Lexi Santamaria.
With the win, the Eagles improve to 10-1 on the season, while the Mohawks have dropped back-to-back games and fall to 9-2.
On the boys side, Groveton had a balanced attack with four players in double-digits. Hunter Parks (17), Ashton Kenison (15), Konner Shannon (13) and Isaac Noyes (10) all netted double-digits for the Eagles.
Jackson Weir poured in a game-high 22 points to pace the Mohawks, while Bryson Fogg (15) and Dart Caulier (14) scored in double figures as well.
With the win, Groveton improves to 8-4, while Colebrook falls to 4-7.
