LONDONDERRY – Sammie Sullivan poured in a game-high 27 points to lead No. 2 Londonderry past No. 15 Nashua South, 73-29, in first round action of the NHIAA Division I state tournament on Monday night.
The Lancers advance to the semifinals to take on No. 7 Salem on Thursday night.
Londonderry opened the game with a 21-6 first quarter and never looked back. Joining Sullivan in double digits for the Lancers was Mia Giampa (15), Gemma Murray (13) and Brooke Eacrett (11).
South was paced by 15 points from Jaynilies De Jesus and 10 from Addison Borden.
