EXETER, NH – No. 5 Exeter started and ended hot en route to an 82-63 win over No. 12 Goffstown in Division I first round action on Wednesday night.

Nate McNeff scored 11 points in the opening frame, combining with running-mate Nikolas Greco to score 19 in the period.

The Grizzlies would hang tough throughout, cutting the home advantage to seven in the fourth quarter, but the 24 points in the quarter by the Blue Hawks proved to be too much.

McNeff would finish with a game-high 24, while Greco added 22. Tyler Ream (17) and Jack Thibodeau (12) would combine for 29 points as well.

Tyler Dionne paced the scoring with 14 points, while Noah Durham added 12 for the Grizzlies.

Exeter will go on the road to take on No. 4 Nashua South in quarterfinal action on Saturday. Goffstown ends its season with a 9-10 record.
