SNHU drops back-and-forth affair to Bentley

MANCHESTER, NH – In a game that featured 10 lead changes and eight ties, Bentley went on the road and defeated Southern New Hampshire in a close contest, 82-74, on Thursday night.

The Penmen were paced by 26 points from Ray Daniels, 18 from Paul Green and 14 from Kurtis Henderson. Cash McClure (26 points), Joe Carroll (17), Aaron Latham (14) and Cooper Farrall (10) all netted double-digits for the Falcons.

With the loss, SNHU falls to 7-4 on the season and 3-2 in Northeast-10 Conference play, while Bentley improves to 6-5 and 3-2 in NE10 action.

#3 Bentley pulls away late at Southern New Hampshire

MANCHESTER, NH – Southern New Hampshire trailed by just one with under nine minutes to play, but No. 3 Bentley pulled away late for a 70-55 road win on Thursday night.

The Falcons poured in 28 first-quarter points and led by as many as 17 points in the opening stanza. The Penmen then won the second and third quarters and trimmed the lead down to one in the fourth, but they couldn’t completely overcome the big deficit.

SNHU was led by 15 points from Meghan Gordon, while Bentley was paced by 15 apiece from Kylie DuCharme and Maggie Whitmore, while Niya Morgen added 11 of her own.

With the loss, the Penmen fall to 6-5 overall and 2-3 in Northeast-10 Conference play. Bentley improves to 12-1 on the season and 4-1 in the NE10.

Dasaro leads Keene State past Colby-Sawyer

KEENE, NH – Freshman Ruby Dasaro poured in a career-high 23 points to pace Keene State past visiting in-state foe Colby-Sawyer, 62-56, on Monday.

Brynn Rautiola (Conant) and Valerie Luizzi added 16 and 15 points, respectively for the Owls, who improve to 5-5 on the season with the win.

The Chargers were led by 21 points from Courtney Brewster and 15 from Marissa Holt. Colby Sawyer falls to 6-4 with the loss.

White Mountains rolls past Berlin

WHITEFIELD, NH – White Mountains poured in 46 first-half points en route to a 78-37 victory over visiting Berlin on Monday.

Kasen Smith and Shayne Farrell netted 16 points apiece to lead the Spartans, while Georgie Welch (15) and Aiden Whipple (14) scored in double-digits as well. Berlin was paced by 15 points from Hayden Bickford and 13 from Bryce Bartlett.

With the win, WMRHS improves to 1-3 on the season, while Berlin falls to 0-3.

White Mountains overcomes slow start to down Berlin

WHITEFIELD, NH – White Mountains trailed 11-5 after one quarter of play, but used strong second and fourth quarters to earn a 40-26 victory over visiting Berlin on Monday.

The Spartans were led by 11 points from Laycee Ingerson and 10 from Emma Simpson. Caitlin Kelley paced the Mountaineers with 10 of her own.

With the win, WMRHS improves to 2-2 on the season, while Berlin suffers its first loss and falls to 3-1.
