GROVETON, NH – Groveton outscored visiting Lin-Wood 37-26 in the second half to pull away to a 65-47 victory in the season opener for both squads on Friday night.
Hunter Parks led all scorers for the Eagles with a game-high 23 points, while Ashton Kenison dropped 20 points as well. Brody Platt rounded out the double-digit scorer for Groveton with 10 points of his own. Lin-Wood was led by 16 points from Liam Manning and 13 from Mason Clark.
