Frink leads Concord Christian past Mascenic

Brode Frink scored a game-high 22 points to lead Concord Christian to a 71-52 win over visiting Mascenic on Monday night. Ethan Young added 17 for the Kinsmen, while Dylan Barthel (14 points) and Wyatt Duval (12) both netted double figures for the Vikings.

Holy family pulls away late past Derryfield

Holy Family and Derryfield were knotted at 46-46 through three quarters, but the Griffins outscored the Cougars by 11 in the final quarter to come away with a 65-54 victory on Monday night in Manchester.

Tschudin leads Sunapee past Farmington

Sunapee senior Liz Tschudin netted 17 points to lead the Lakers past Farmington, 38-23, on Monday night. The Lakers held the Tigers to just six points in the first half en route to the victory. The Tigers were led by 9 points from senior Makayla Lapanne and 8 points by freshman Anna Cardinal.

Farmington improves to perfect 4-0

Farmington’s defensive pressure was too much for Sunapee on Monday night as the Tigers came away with a 58-27 win. The Tigers held the Lakers to just two points in the first quarter and one point in the final stanza to come away with their fourth-straight win to start the season.

Seniors Jordan Berko (14 points) and Matt Savoy (13) both netted double-figures to pace the Tigers. Sunapee, who falls to 0-2 on the season, was led by Sam Flint’s 12 points.

Freshman Ray shines for Belmont on opening night

The Belmont Red Raiders cruised to a 47-22 victory over visiting White Mountains on Division III opening night. Freshman Treshawn Ray led the way for Belmont with a game-high 13 points, while sophomore Keegan Martinez added 12. The Spartans were paced by 8 points from Aiden Whipple.

Belmont first year head coach Tony Martinez made his NHIAA head coaching debut and came away with his first career victory.

Hot-shooting Tigers roll past Warriors

The Farmington boys jumped out to an 11-3 lead just 90 seconds into the game and never looked back. Behind 12 three-point field goals, the Tigers led wire-to-wire at Wilton-Lyndeborough and came away with an impressive 69-38 victory.

Farmington was led by junior Shawn Murphy’s 20 points, while seniors Brian Boisvert (13 points) and Matt Savoy (11) also netted double figures for the Tigers. The Tigers move to 3-0 on the season, while the Warriors fall to 0-2.
