Trinity tops Pinkerton in showdown between D-I Goliaths
In a battle between the top two teams in Division I, Trinity (14-1) flexed its muscle with a 52-44 win at home over Pinkerton (13-3) on Monday night. It was a back and forth affair early on that saw the game was tied at 41 with just over two minutes to go in the third. That’s when the Pioneers put the clamps on the Astros as Pinkerton allowed just three points in the final 10 minutes of action and came away with the victory.
The Pioneers are now two games up in the loss column over the Astros and Goffstown (14-3). With their final two games of the regular-season at Winnacunnet (5-10) and at Merrimack (5-11), the Pioneers look to be poised to take the #1 seed for the upcoming NHIAA Division IV State Tournament.
Lebanon survives in overtime at Hanover
The Lebanon Raiders needed overtime to earn their 13th-straight victory with a 50-40 overtime win at Hanover on Monday night. Lebanon improves to 13-1 on the season, while Hanover falls to 4-12.

Coe-Brown girls down Oyster River in Route 4 rivalry
In a girls Division II match-up between Route 4 rivals, Coe-Brown bested Oyster River, 33-28, on Friday night in Durham.
The Bears were led by a game-high 12 points from Jennifer Noni, while the Bobcats were paced by 8 points from Riley Drapeau. With the win, Coe-Brown improved to 6-9 on the season, while Oyster River drops to 5-11.

Derryfield girls pull away from Farmington
The Farmington varsity girls hung tough in the first half versus Derryfield, but the Cougars pulled away in the third quarter and won 55-32 on Friday night in The Jungle. Derryfield’s Elyse Ngenda led all scorers with 19 points, while Madi Ricker paced the Tigers with 14.
