Goffstown overcomes slow start, downs South

Goffstown scored just three 1st-quarter points, before rally for a 49-42 victory over visiting Nashua South on Tuesday night.

The Grizzlies were led by 16 points from Maggie Sasso. The Panthers were paced by 17 points from Koharu Tanaka and 13 from Morgan Gillis.

With the win, Goffstown improves to 10-2 on the season, while South falls to 5-7.

Hopkinton downs Campbell, moves to 11-1

Hopkinton held hold Campbell to just 12 first-half points en route to a 48-25 victory on Tuesday night.

The Hawks were led by 10 points apiece from Lizz Holmes and Sydney Westover. The Cougars were paced by 9 points from Haley Swanson.

With the win, Hopkinton improves to 11-1 on the season, while Campbell falls to 4-9.

Plymouth pulls away late versus Bishop Brady

Trailing by two at the half, Plymouth outscored visiting Bishop Brady by 10 in the second half to pull way for a 52-44 victory on Monday night.

The Bobcats were led by 13 points from Tevin Stone and 12 from Dylan Webster. The Giants were paced by a game-high 14 points from Ryan Casey.

With the win, Plymouth improves to 6-5, while Brady falls to 0-10.

Farmington rises above Mount Royal

Farmington held visiting Mount Royal to just nine first-half points en route to a 53-28 win on Monday night.

The Tigers were led by 14 points from Shaylee DiPrizio, while Madi Ricker (13) and Zoey Johnson (11) both netted double figures as well. The Knights were paced by Katherine McMenamen’s 14 points.

With the win, Farmington improves to 11-4 on the season, while Mount Royal falls to 5-8.

Woodsville pulls away from Groveton in the 4th

Visiting Woodsville pulled away from Groveton in the 4th quarter on Saturday to come away with a 55-43 win.

Landon Kingsbury led the way for the Engineers scoring 20 points, going 12/13 at the line, while Connor Newcomb added 12. Hunter Parks had a team high of 11 for the Eagles. 

With the win, Woodsville improves to 11-2 on the season, while the Eagles (7-7) fall to .500 on the year.

Groveton closes out Woodsville in 4th

On Saturday night, Groveton defeated Woodsville, 30-28, winning its sixth-straight and improving to 13-1 on the season. The two north country squads went into the 4th quarter tied at 22-22 but the Eagles came out on top with the home victory.

Groveton was led by Delaney Whiting with 13 points. McKayla Walker and Katie Houston paced the Engineers with 11 and 10, respectively. 

The Eagles remain 2nd in the Division-IV standings, while Woodsville drops back-to-back games and falls to 11-3, but is still 3rd in D-IV.

Littleton remains perfect with win over Colebrook

Despite allowing the most points in a single-game this season, the Littleton girls remained undefeated and cruised to a 71-51 win over Colebrook on Friday night.

The Crusaders entered the game giving up just over 30 points per game and allowed 21 more than their average. With the win, Littleton improves to 13-0, while the Mohawks have dropped three straight and fall to 6-7 on the season.
