CONCORD, NH. – No. 4 Concord Christian Academy pushed its post-season win streak to 12 as the Kingsmen avenged a two-point, season-opening loss to No. 5 Bishop Guertin with a 48-33 victory in Division I quarterfinal action on Thursday night.
Host CCA put the clamps on the Cardinals, allowing just four first-quarter points and only 11 in the first half to take control of the quarterfinal. BG would win the third quarter 10-9, before the Kingsmen closed things out with an 18-12 fourth quarter for the win.
Concord Christian was led by a game-high 18 points from Emma Smith with Lilli Carlisle adding 17. Bishop Guertin was paced by nine points from Thalia Drapeau.
CCA, winners of three-straight state titles (D-IV in 2022, D-III in 2023 and D-II in 2024), faces undefeated, top seed Bedford in semifinal action at Exeter High School on Monday at 8:00 p.m.
