Kaplan leads Franklin past Farmington

FRANKLIN – Kourtney Kaplan poured in a game-high 17 points to lead Franklin past visiting Farmington, 46-35, on Tuesday night.

The Golden Tornadoes held the Tigers to six first-quarter points and took a two point lead to the break, 17-15. Franklin opened things up in the third frame, outscoring the Tigers 16-7 to take a commanding 33-22 lead.

Lily Cornell (11) and Savaughna Slocom (9) also made significant contributions for the home team. Farmington was paced by 10 points apiece from Shaylee DiPrizio and Zoey Johnson, while Anna Cardinal added 8.

With the win, Franklin improves to 2-3 on the season, while the Tigers fall to 4-2. Farmington was playing without junior Madi Ricker.

The Bash returns Dec. 26-30

Ball 603 will once again be bringing you official coverage of New Hampshire’s largest holiday basketball tournament with the 44th Annual Mike Lee Holiday Basketball Bash presented by Dana’s Collision Repair at Farmington High School on Dec. 26-30.

The five-day event features 24 teams from two states, all four NHIAA divisions and a whopping 43 games. We will be bringing you live streams of all the action, along with photo coverage and video highlights of select games.

Robie’s 35 points paces Profile past Farmington

BETHLEHEM – Josh Robie poured in a game-high 35 points, 23 coming in the first half, to lead Profile past visiting Farmington, 73-30, on Friday night in Bethlehem.

Profile led by just three points after one quarter of play, 13-10, but used a 26-12 second quarter and a 15-0 third quarter to blow the game open.

Robie’s running mate Alex Leslie was held without a field goal in the first half, but netted 13 in the second half to net 14 on the night. Caden Wakeham added 15 points for Profile.

The Tigers were led by Cody Brazee’s 13 points, all of which came in the first half.

Profile improves to a perfect 4-0 on the season, while Farmington falls to 3-2.

Profile pressure leads Patriots past Tigers

BETHLEHEM – Profile used a 25-11 first half to propel the host Patriots to a 47-37 victory over visiting Farmington on Friday night in Bethlehem.

The Tigers struggled with the Patriots’ full court press in the first half as they managed to score just 11 points at the break.

Profile’s balanced scoring attack saw Evie Burger (15 points), Mya Brown (14) and Morgan Presby (10) all notch double figures. Farmington was paced by 8th grader Shaylee DiPrizio with 14 points and Anna Cardinal with 7.

The loss was Farmington’s first of the season, while Profile has won four-straight. Both teams are now 4-1.

Tigers race past Blue Devils

The varsity boys trailed 11-8 after the first quarter before outscoring Epping 41-16 over the next two quarters to blow the game open and come away with a 58-38 victory over visiting Epping on Tuesday night.

Demery Hadges led all scorers with 13 points for the Tigers, while Shawn Murphy added 12. Epping was paced by 12 points from Henry Hodgkins and 11 from Blake Snyder.

Farmington improves to 3-1 on the season, while Epping falls to 1-3.

Farmington defense denies Epping

The Farmington girls held Epping scoreless for the first 10 minutes of action en route to an impressive defensive performance and a 38-26 victory over visiting Epping on Tuesday night in The Jungle.

The Tigers were led by nine points apiece from Anna Cardinal and Madi Ricker, while Ryleigh Hogan (8) and Jaelyn Prosper (7) contributed to the scoring.

Epping was paced by a game-high 12 points from Mae McAniff.

Farmington improves to 4-0 on the season, while the Blue Devils fall to 3-1.

Tigers ease past Warriors

FARMINGTON – The Farmington boys led wire-to-wire en route to a 70-21 victory over visiting Wilton-Lyndeborough on Friday night.

Shawn Murphy (14 points) and Aiden Place (12) led the Tigers in scoring as 10 different players scored for FHS.

Farmington improves to 2-1 on the young season, while the Warriors fall to 1-2.

Strong second-half lifts Farmington past Wilton-Lyndeborough

FARMINGTON – The Farmington girls erased a three-point halftime deficit to earn a 52-44 victory over visiting Wilton-Lyndeborough on Friday night.

Freshman Zoey Johnson led the Tigers in scoring with 13 points, while Ryleigh Hogan added 11. The Warriors were paced by 14 points from Lexi Bausha and 12 from Adri Bausha.

Farmington improves to 3-0 on the season, while Wilton falls to 1-2.

Farmington’s defense closes out PCA girls

DOVER – The Farmington girls basketball team held Portsmouth Christian Academy to just five fourth-quarter points to escape Dover with a 47-41 victory on Tuesday evening.

The Tigers were led by 12 points from freshman Zoey Johnson and 11 points from Jaelyn Prosper. The Eagles received a game-high 14 points from Ava Buchanan, 12 from Jaela Stockbower and 11 from Kloe Mackenzie.

Farmington improves to 2-0 on the season, while PCA falls to 1-1.
