Bishop Guertin closes out Goffstown

Bishop Guertin held Goffstown without a field goal in the fourth quarter to come away with a 60-42 victory on Tuesday night. The Cardinals trailed 37-34 through three quarters before putting the clamps on the host Grizzlies, outscoring Gofftown 26-5 over the final eight minutes.

The Cardinals were led by a game-high 18 points from Luke Anderson, including 13 in the fourth quarter alone. Ryan Strand tallied 13 points to pace the Grizzlies.

Trinity crowned D-I champs in epic battle with Goffstown

TOURNEY

In one of the greatest games in NHIAA tournament history, the top-seeded Trinity Pioneers outlasted #3 Goffstown, 64-62, on Sunday morning to take home the NHIAA Division I Boys Basketball State Championship at the University of New Hampshire’s Lundholm Gymnasium. More to come…

The Pioneers were paced by a team-high 23 points, while Aiden O’Connell netted 23 of his own for the Grizzlies.

#3 Goffstown knocks off #2 Nashua North in semifinals

Third-seeded Goffstown knocked off #2 Nashua North, 74-58, on Wednesday night in semifinal action of the NHIAA Division I Boys Basketball State Tournament at Exeter High School. The Grizzlies advance to the D-I championship game where they will take on #1 Trinity on Sunday at the University of New Hampshire at 10:00 am.

Goffstown cruises past Bishop Guertin, advances to semis

Third-seeded Goffstown cruised to a 54-36 victory over #6 Bishop Guertin in quarterfinal action of the NHIAA Division I Boys Basketball State Tournament. The Grizzlies advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2015 and will take on #2 Nashua North.

The Cardinals jumped out to a 6-0 lead, but it was all Goffstown from then on out. Bishop Guertin struggled from the field in the first half as they endured a 5:24 scoreless drought and trailed 26-11 at the break.
