Quick start lifts Windham past Salem

Host Windham held visiting Salem to just 17 first-half points en route to a 61-42 victory on Friday night.

The Jaguars were led by four double-digit scorers: Jack Koutrobis (15), Ben Roy (12), Tyler Jordan (12), Jack Begley (10). Salem was paced by 10 points apiece from Brock James and Ryan Morse.

With the win, Windham improves to 5-3 on the season, while Salem has now dropped four-straight to fall to 4-4.

Woodsville survives strong second-half by Gorham

Woodsville led by 13 points at the half and survived a strong second half by visiting Gorham to come away with a slim 55-53 victory over visiting Gorham on Friday night.

The host Engineers jumped out to a 13-8 lead after one quarter and later took a 29-16 lead to the locker room at the half. The Huskies came out firing to start the 3rd quarter as Isaac Langlois pumped in three trifectas in the frame to cut the Woodsville lead to four, 41-37.

Gorham won the final quarter, 16-14, but the Huskies’ come-back bid came up just short.

The Engineers were led by a game-high 23 points from Landon Kingsbury, while Ryan Walker (14) and Jack Boudreault (13) also added double digits. Gorham was paced by Langlois’ 18 points and 15 from Brendan Saladino.

With the win, Woodsville stretches its win streak to five games and improves to 9-2 on the season. The Huskies fall to 6-5.

Conant rains down threes on Gilford

Eleven of Conant’s 18 field goals on Friday night came from beyond the arc as the Orioles went on the road and defeated Gilford, 48-42.

Conant connected on seven first-half three pointers, which accounted for all 21 of their points at the break.

A trio of scorers led the way for the Orioles. Hannah Manley pumped in a game-high 18 points, all coming from beyond the arc. Bella Hart added 14 points with four triples of her own. Amriel Lucier netted 11 points and did not make a three, but had five of Conant’s six two-point field goals.

Gilford was paced by 12 points from Ryan Guyer, 11 from Olivia Keenan and 11 from Megan Hughes.

With the win, Conant stretches its win streak to six games and improves to 8-3 on the season and. The Golden Eagles fall to 6-4 in defeat.

Bedford makes statement with dominant win over Goffstown

Two of the top teams in Division I met on Friday night and when the final buzzer sounded, the Bedford Bulldogs made an emphatic statement with a dominant 44-point win over visiting Goffstown, 79-35.

It was really business as usual for the Bulldogs as they boast an average margin of victory of 43.3 points per game this season.

Bedford improves to 9-0 on the season and sits tied atop the D-I standings with Pinkerton. Goffstown falls to 7-2 on the year and is now in a four-way tie for fourth.

Third-quarter effort propels Salem past Windham

Salem trailed 30-24 at the break, but used an 18-2 third quarter to roll to a 55-42 victory at Windham on Friday night.

The Blue Devils were led by 24 points from Lillian George, including six three pointers. Lindsay Goetz added 10 as well for Salem.

Meghan Husson paced the Jaguars with 13 points, while Paige Carboni chipped in with 11.

With the win, Salem improves to 7-2 on the season while Windham has a three-game win streak snapped and falls to 7-2.

Bedford flies past Goffstown, moves to 8-0

A 26-point first quarter propelled Bedford to a resounding 79-42 win over visiting Goffstown on Friday night.

The Bulldogs improve to 8-0 on the season with the victory and have now won 23-straight games dating back to last January 10th.

Bedford was led by a game-high 28 points from Luke Soden, while Austin Kasyjanski (13) and Brady O’Connell (12) also netted double digits.

The Grizzlies (4-4) were paced by Cam Hujsak’s 12 points.

White Mountains cruises past Prospect Mountain

Visiting White Mountains went on the road and poured in 49 first-half points to roll to a 77-34 victory at Prospect Mountain on Friday night.

Avery Woodburn led the Spartans with 20 points, while Kasen Smith (17) and Trevor Armstrong (15) also netted double digits for the Spartans.

For the Timberwolves, Nate Leavitt and TJ Locke led the way with nine points apiece.

With the win, White Mountains improves to 7-5 on the season, while Prospect falls to 4-6.

Littleton remains perfect with win over Profile

The Littleton girls held visiting Profile to just eight first-half points as the Crusaders improved to a perfect 11-0 on the season with a 49-35 victory on Friday night.

Coming off a buzzer-beating victory at White Mountains on Tuesday, the Crusaders keep the momentum rolling as they opened up the game with a 14-3 first quarter, followed by a 13-5 second quarter. Littleton took a commanding 27-8 lead to the locker room and hung on for the win.

Littleton was led by 11 points from Addison Pilgrim, while Profile was paced by nine points from Mya Brown.
