PITTSBURG, NH – Groveton trailed four at the half, but doubled up host Pittsburg-Canaan in the second half, 34-17, to come away with a 54-41 victory on Tuesday night.
The Eagles featured a balanced scoring attack as four players were in double-digits for Tim Haskins’ squad. Delaney Whiting (14), Mylee Kenison (13), Julia Chappell (12) and Makaylyn Kenison (10) all netted double figures for Groveton.
The Yellow Jackets were led by 13 points from Janessa Hodge and 11 from Alyvia Jaimes.
With the win, Groveton improves to 9-1 on the season, while Pittsburg-Canaan falls to 5-4.
