Behind a game-high 16 points from Avery Romps, the Portsmouth girls sailed past Londonderry, 58-34, on Tuesday night. The Clippers outscored the Lancers 16-3 in the first quarter and never looked back. Maddie MacCannell chipped in with 13 for Portsmouth, while Samantha Sullivan led Londonderry with 10 points.

Denis Wainaina’s go-ahead field goal with 8.8 seconds remaining lifted Nashua South past Windham, 61-60, on Tuesday night. Josh Caruso led the Purple Panthers with a game-high 16 points, while Wainaina added 15. The Jaguars were paced by 16 points from Jack St. Hilaire.

In a slugfest that featured 43 team fouls, the Stevens boys came away with 48-44 win over Newport, on Monday night in Claremont. The Cardinals were led by a trio of double-figure scorers: Hunter LaRocque (13 points), Mason Ferland (12) and Devin Genes (10), while the Tigers were paced by 11 points from Christian Forsythe and 10 from Kayden LaClair.

The Romike Report with Andy Romike was on the scene in Canaan as Mascoma Valley played host to Kearsarge on Tuesday night. This one was all Royals as Zach Thompson led Mascoma to a convincing 53-31 victory.
It was a thriller in the north country on Monday as Woodsville and Lin-Wood battled through two overtimes with the Engineers coming out on top, 81-75, in Lincoln. St. Thomas used a balanced scoring attack with four players in double figures to earn a 62-40 win over Winnisquam in Dover on Monday night. Reece Rogers (14 points), Brady Rogers (13), AJ Reinertson (12) and Will Mollica (12) all reached the double-digit plateau for the Saints, while the Bears were paced by a game-high 28 points from Anthony Boomer.
The Saints improve to 3-0 on the season, while Winnisquam falls to 1-2.

Farmington jumped out to a quick 11-0 lead at Franklin on Monday night and never looked back as the Tigers blew past the host Golden Tornadoes, 70-36. Senior Jordan Berko led the way for FHS with 19 points, while Matt Savoy added a career-high 18 points. Franklin was paced by Zeke McCoy’s game-high 24 points.
The Tigers improve to 5-1 on the season, while Franklin drops to 1-3.

Leading by one at the half, 22-21, Farmington connected on five three-pointers in the third quarter to take a 17-point lead and hung on for a 51-44 win at Franklin on Monday night.
The Tigers were led by a team-high 15 points from sophomore Madi Ricker. Teammate Makayla Lapanne (10 points) also chipped in with double figures, while Jaelyn Prosper netted nine, all on three point field goals in the third. The Golden Tornadoes were paced by a game-high 16 points from Lily Cornell and Kourtney Kaplan added 13 of her own.
The win snapped a two-game skid for Farmington, who evens its record at 3-3. Franklin drops to 1-3 on the early season.
