Fast start propels Pelham past Hollis-Brookline

Pelham jumped out to a 21-7 lead after the 1st quarter and never looked back as the Pythons rolled past Hollis-Brookline, 69-44, on Friday night.

Pelham was paced by a game-high 20 points from Olivia Todd, 14 from Sophia Guinazzo and 12 from Grace Riley. The Cavaliers were led by 15 points from Emily Tebbetts.

With the win, the Pythons improve to 7-4, while the Cavs fall to 5-5.

Hollis-Brookline hangs on for win over Milford

Leading by 13 heading to the fourth quarter, Hollis-Brookline held off a late Milford surge to hang on for a 57-54 on Wednesday night.

The Cavs were led by 14 points apiece from Samantha Disco and Anika Carlson, while Grace Dow added 13. Ellianna Nassy pumped in a game-high 19 points for Milford, while Claire Cote (14) and Libby Pond (12) also added double figures.

With the win, HB improves to to 4-2 on the year. After starting the season 4-0, Milford has dropped three straight and falls to 4-3 on the season.

Strong second quarter lifts Cavs past ConVal

Hollis-Brookline used a 22-10 second quarter to propel the Cavaliers to a 64-56 road win over ConVal on Tuesday night in Peterborough.

The Cavs were led by 14 points apiece from Will McCoy and Alton Williams, while James Arthur added 13. The Cougars were paced by a game-high 24 points from Ryan Close.

With the win, H-B improves to 2-3, while ConVal falls to 0-5 on the season.

Moulton leads Kingswood to come-from-behind win

Behind a game-high 17 points from Brady Moulton, Kingswood went on the road and earned a come-from-behind win at Hollis-Brookline on Tuesday night.

The Knights trailed by eight entering the fourth quarter, 44-36, but rallied over the final eight minutes to come away with the win.

Emerson De Nitto also adeed 12 points for the Kingswood. The Cavs were paced by 10 points from James Arthur.

With the win, Kingswood improves to 2-1 on the season, while HB falls to 1-2.

Cavaliers survive at Plymouth

Hollis-Brookline went on the road and came away with a hard-fought 57-56 victory at Plymouth on Friday night.

The Cavaliers were led by a quartet of double-digit scorers: Cam Kump (15 points), Noah Natalino (13), Alton Williams (13) and Arthur (12). The Bobcats were paced by 15 points from Dylan Webster and 14 points from Luke Legacy.

With the win, Hollis-Brookline improves to 1-1 on the season, while Plymouth falls to 1-1.

Klein beats the buzzer for the Bobcats

Caitlin Klein’s heave just inside of half court beat the buzzer to give Oyster River a dramatic 52-49 come-from-behind victory over visiting Hollis-Brookline on Monday night.

The Bobcats trailed by 10 at half and seven entering the fourth quarter, before tying the game at 49-49. Oyster River called a timeout with 3.1 seconds to go, setting up Klein’s heroics. 

Riley Drapeau (16 points) and Gabrielle Deane (14) led the way for the Bobcats, while the Cavaliers boasted three players in double digits: Daniella Allanach (14), McKenna Dunn (13) and Cheyenne Colbert (10). 

Oyster River improves to 8-3 on the season, while Hollis-Brookline falls to 7-4.
