Gilford handles Raymond in D-III first round

GILFORD, NH – No. 4 Gilford scored in double-figures in all four quarters to come away with a dominating 60-22 victory over No. 13 Raymond in first round action of the Division III state tournament on Wednesday night.

The Golden Eagles led 25-7 after one and would continue their scoring surge throughout.

Grace Kelly tallied a season-high 18 points, while Skye Maltais added 14 for Gilford. Meadow-Miah Mitchell scored 15 of Raymond’s 22 points.

The Golden Eagles will host No. 5 Monadnock in the second round on Saturday, while the Rams finish their season at 7-11.

Fall Mountain denies Raymond in D-III first round

LANGDON, NH – No. 8 Fall Mountain held No. 9 Raymond to just three second-quarter points en route to a 59-49 victory in first round action of the Division III state tournament on Tuesday night.

With the win, the Wildcats improve to 12-5 on the season and advance to the quarterfinals where they will take on top-seeded Belmont on Friday.

The duo of Ledger Willet (24 points) and Luke St. Pierre (21) combined for 45 of Fall Mountains 59 points.

The Rams were led by a game-high 28 points from Dre Duffaut, while Aidan York chipped in with 10 points. Raymond’s season comes to a close at 12-7.

Raymond knocks off St. Thomas in regular-season finale

RAYMOND, NH – In the regular-season finale for both teams, Raymond knocked off visiting St. Thomas, 61-56, snapping the Saints seven-game win streak.

It was a showdown between two of the top guards in Division III and it did not disappoint. Drezell Duffaut poured in 29 points for the Rams, while STA’s Cole McClure netted a game-high 32 points. Finley DeTolla also added 10 for the Saints.

With the win, Raymond improves 12-6, St. Thomas falls to 13-3.

Belmont blows past Raymond

RAYMOND, NH – Keegan Martinez scored a season-high 29 points as Belmont rolled past Raymond, 86-36, in Division III action on Friday night.

Treshawn Ray tallied 17 points, with Brady Thurber (12) and Anakin Underhill (11) also scoring in double-figures for the Red Raiders.

Drezell Duffaut (15) and Aidan York (10) combined for 25 of the Rams 36 points in the loss.

With the win, Belmont improves to 15-1 on the season and Raymond drops to 11-5.

Raymond handles Winnisquam

RAYMOND, NH – Behind a game-high 22 points from Drezell Duffaut, Raymond defeated visiting Winnisquam, 56-42, on Tuesday night.

The Rams led 15-8 after one quarter of action and controlled the game throughout.

Carter Lloyd led Winnisquam with 12 points.

With the win, Raymond improves to 11-4 on the season, while the Bears fall to 0-13.

Campbell earns tough road win at Raymond

RAYMOND, NH – Campbell went on the road and earned a tough 64-54 victory at Raymond on Friday night. 

The Cougars led throughout, but could never get comfortable separation from the host Rams.

A balanced scoring attack was key for Campbell as Logan Rice (15 points), Luke Delia (12) and Jack Breton (10) all netted double-digits, and Cayden DeLeon, Matt Haley and Jayden Medina each chipped in with nine points apiece

Raymond was paced by Dre Duffaut’s game-high 24 points.

With the win, Campbell improves to 11-2 on the season and the Rams fall to 10-4

Raymond rolls past Somersworth

RAYMOND, NH – Raymond scored 47 first-half points and rolled past visiting Somersworth, 86-46, on Friday night.

Drezell Duffaut (22) and Caden Claytor (21) combined for 43 points, while Aidan York (15) and Logan Brien (12) both added double-figures. 

Jev Politton scored 13 to pace the Hilltoppers and Alex Brown and Jack Rosiler chipped in with 12 apiece.

With the win, the Rams improve to 8-3 on the season and Somersworth drops to 2-8.

Raymond sweeps Epping

RAYMOND, NH – Raymond came away with a sweep of Epping in a cross division matchup Tuesday night. For the boys it was a big 75-47 victory, while the girls also came away with a 39-22 win.

On the boys side, the Division III Rams were led by Logan Brien who had 20 points. Aiden York and Jacobi Cumberbatch added 15 apiece. The Rams are now 8-3 on the year following the victory. 

Henry Hodgkins was the leading scorer for the D-IV Blue Devils with 13 on the night. Blake Snyder put in 12 as well and Grayson Davis finished in double figures with 11. With the loss Epping falls back to .500 on the year at 5-5. 

On the girls side, it was a big first half run of 27-8 that allowed them to cruise to the win. The Rams had 7 different players score in this one. They were led by Meadow Mitchell with 10 points. Raymond moves to 3-7 with the win and snap a four-game losing streak. 

Epping girls fall to 0-10 on the season with the loss.

St. Thomas shoots past Raymond

DOVER, NH – Saint Thomas connected on 11 three-pointers to shoot past visiting Raymond, 62-40, on Monday night.

Cole McClure led the Saints with a game-high 24 points, including four threes. Finley De Tolla added 14 points and four threes as well. Jacobi Cumberbatch paced the Rams with 21 points.

With the win, Saint Thomas improves to 6-1 on the season, while Raymond falls to 6-2.
