Central rolls past Concord

Fourteen players scored for Manchester Central as the Little Green defeated visiting Concord 67-45 on Monday night.

Izaya Diaz led Central with 12 points, while the Crimson Tide were paced by a game-high 14 points from Japhet Nduwayo.

With the win, Central improves to 4-9 on the season, while Concord falls to 1-12.

Duffaut nets 1,000th as Raymond downs Hillsboro-Deering

Dre Duffaut entered Friday night’s game at Hillsboro-Deering needing 15 points to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau and the junior scored 16 points to lead Raymond to a 63-45 victory.

With the win, Raymond improves to 8-9 on the season and has garnered the 11 seed for the upcoming Division II state tournament. HD falls to 1-16.

Blistering start leads Littleton past Groveton

In a showdown between the top two teams in Division IV, Littleton opened the game on a 20-3 run in the 1st quarter and went on to earn the win over visiting Groveton, 41-36, on Friday night.

With the win, the Crusaders improve to a perfect 17-0 and will look to finish off the perfect regular season when they travel to Colebrook on Monday night. The Eagles fall to 15-2 on the season, with both losses coming to Littleton.

Addison Pilgrim (14 points) and Addison Hadlock (10) led the Crusaders, while Delaney Whiting paced Groveton with 13.

Horne leads Merrimack Valley past Oyster River

Annika Horne poured in a game-high 26 points to lead Merrimack Valley to a 67-56 victory at Oyster River on Friday night.

Kayla Smith and Isabelle Navoy chipped in with 15 and 13 points, respectively, for the Pride. The Bobcats were led by 25 points from Wren Horne and 15 from Maeve Hickok.

With the win, MV improves to 7-8 on the season, while Oyster River falls to 10-5.

Quick start leads Concord Christian over Milford

Concord Christian wasted no time getting the ball rolling at Milford on Friday night as the Kingsmen opened the game on a 19-4 run and rolled to a 50-32 victory.

The Kingsmen were led by a game-high 23 points from Emma Smith, while Lili Carlile added 14. Pacing the Spartans was Ellianna Nassy with 10 points.

With the win, CCA remains perfect and pushed its record to 13-0 on the season. Milford falls to 7-8.

Bedford flies past Pinkerton in battle of unbeatens

The final two remaining unbeaten Division I teams met on Friday night and Bedford flew past visiting Pinkerton, 91-54.

It was a tight contest in the first quarter, as Bedford led by just one after the first 8 minutes of play. But, the Bulldogs put the pedal to the metal behind three triples from Megan Muir in the 2nd quarter and took a 45-32 lead to the break and never looked back.

Bedford boasted a balanced attack with five players in double figures: Kate Allard (18), Lyla Stein (18), Lana McCarthy (14), Megan Muir (13) and Sarah Muir (11).

Pinkerton was paced by a game-high 28 points from Elizabeth Lavoie, while Kaylee Dupuis and Alexandra White added 12 and 11, respectively.

With the win, the Bulldogs remain perfect and push their record to 15-0, while the Astros fall to 14-1.

Fall Mountain defeats Monadnock

Fall Mountain closed out the regular-season with a 60-43 win at Monadnock on Friday night.

Owen Riendeau and Pat Connors netted 13 points apiece to pace the Wildcats, while the Huskies were led by 11 points from Ben Dean and 10 from Gavin Gomario.

With the win, Fall Mountain improves to 9-9 on the season, while Monadnock falls to 6-11.

Monadnock topples Fall Mountain

Playing each other the second time in three days, Monadnock allowed just seven 1st-quarter points as the Huskies completed the season sweep of Fall Mountain, 45-31, on Friday night in Swanzey.

Cainen Avery led all scorers with a game-high 16 points for Monadnock, while Shaylee Branon added 10.

With the win, the Huskies improve to 9-6 on the season, while the Wildcats fall to 6-9.

Belmont finishes strong, downs Gilford

Belmont let up 16 1st-quarter points, but then put the clamps on Gilford, allowing just 18 points the rest of the way, to come away with a 50-34 victory on Friday night.

The win gives the Red Raiders the season sweep over the Golden Eagles as Belmont finishes the regular-season 11-7. Gilford falls to 10-8.

Keegan Martinez poured in a game-high 21 points for Belmont to lead all scorers, while Anakin Underhill chipped in with 10. Logan Grant led Gilford with 11.
