Griffins start fast, cruise past Pacers

HINSDALE, NH – Holy Family unloaded 35 first-half points and cruised by host Hinsdale 62-15 on Wednesday night.

Ryenn Pedone scored 12 points to lead the Griffins, extending her double-digit scoring streak to five games this season.

Rylee Rockwood led the Pacers with six points.

With the win, Holy Family stays unbeaten at 7-0, while Hinsdale drops to 4-5. Next up, the Griffins host 8-0 Littleton in a match-up between two of the top squads in Division IV.

Hinsdale finishes off Holy Family

HINSDALE, N.H. – Hinsdale outscored Holy Family 19-4 in the fourth quarter to earn a 46-36 come-from-behind victory on Wednesday night.

The Pacers entered the final frame trailing by five before rallying for the victory.

Hinsdale was led by a game-high 21 points from Connor Dixon, while Chris Colon and Jack Clark each had nine.

Jeremiah Guerrero (15) and Enzo Yonkeu (14) combined for 29 points in the loss for Holy Family that drops to 3-5.

With the win, Hinsdale improves to 5-3.

Strong second half sends Milford past Souhegan

AMHERST, NH – Milford outscored Souhegan 35-14 in the second half on Tuesday night to come away with a 55-30 victory.

Claire Cote connected on three triples in the first quarter to give the Spartans a 13-7 lead after one quarter of play. The Sabers battled back in the second quarter to cut the Milford lead to four at the break, 20-16.

The second half was all Milford, particularly the third quarter as the Spartans pumped in 26 points to blow the game open.

Leading the way for Milford was Ellie Nassy with a game-high 18 points, followed by Cote with 11. Drumm led the Sabers with 12.

With the win, the Spartans move to 5-1 on the season, while and the Sabers fall to 3-4.

Farmington sweeps Wilton-Lyndeborough

FARMINGTON, NH – Farmington boys and girls eased past Wilton-Lyndeborough on Wednesday night.

The Tiger girls were victorious, 60-19, and the boys won 61-31.

On the girls side, all five starters scored in double digits for FHS. Zoey Johnson led the starters with 15 points, while Anna Cardinal (12), Ryleigh Hogan (12), Madison Ricker (11) and Shaylee DiPrizio (10) all netted double figures.

Kelsey Crouse paced the Warriors with eight points.

With the win, Farmington improves to 6-2, while Wilton falls 4-4.

On the boys side, the Tigers improve to 5-3 and were led by a trio of double-digit scorers: Keltin Moulton (15), Lucas Watson (14) and Noah Elwell (12).

For Wilton, Ben Jacob led the Warriors with 12 as they fall to 3-6.

Third quarter flurry leads Littleton past White Mountains

LITTLETON, NH – Littleton exploded for 27 third-quarter points en route to a 67-45 win against visiting White Mountains on Tuesday night.

Sam Reagey led all scorers with 19 points, including four from downtown. Daven Reagey also added 16 for the Crusaders.

Tomasso Paleullo, Kasen Smith and Aiden Whipple all scored 12 points for WMRHS.

Littleton jumps to 7-1, while the Spartans drop to 3-5.

Monadnock hands Fall Mountain first loss

EAST SWANZEY, NH – Monadnock dropped 38 second-half points to knock off undefeated Fall Mountain 61-42 on Tuesday night.

Shaylee Branon led the Huskies with 16 points, while Harper Blood added 13 of her own.

Clara Stewart led the way for the Wildcats with 13 points.

Monadnock improved to 6-2 on the season and Fall Mountain drops to 6-1.

Kaplan scores 1,000th point, leads Franklin past Wilton

FRANKLIN, NH – Sophomore Kourtney Kaplan poured in a game-high 26 points, including the 1000th of her career, as she led Franklin past visiting Wilton-Lyndeborough, 60-25, on Monday night.

Kaplan becomes the 15th player in school history to reach the 1K milestone and just the fifth female.

Lily Cornell added 21 for Franklin, who improves to 7-2 on the season.

Kelsey Crouse and Maddy Labreque each netted 12 points to lead the Warriors, who fall to 5-3.

Newmarket defense smothers Epping

NEWMARKET, NH – Newmarket held Epping scoreless in the first and third quarters en route to a 53-9 victory on Monday night.

Amaya Beckles led all scorers with 12 points for the Mules, who had eight players score. The Blue Devils were paced by Lyla Shumway.

With the win, Newmarket improves to 7-1, while Epping drops to 0-8.

Blistering start sends Kearsarge past Stevens

NORTH SUTTON, NH – The hottest team in Division III wasn’t messing around on Monday night as the Kearsarge Cougars opened the game on a 25-0 run and ran away with a 70-29 victory over visiting Stevens.

The Cougars poured in 32 first-quarter points to take a 32-4 lead after one before letting off the throttle.

Kearsarge had nine players score, including three in double digits: Eli Whipple (21 points), Liam Miller (16) and Noah Whipple (15). The Cardinals were paced by 10 points from Cullen Neathawk.

With the win, the Cougars move to 8-0 on the season and sit alone atop the D-III standings. Stevens falls to 1-6.
