Woodsville downs Groveton, improves to 6-0

GROVETON, NH – Woodsville remained perfect on Friday night with a 64-39 victory at Groveton.

The Engineers were led by Ryan Walker’s 20 points, while Landon Kingsbury (15), Cowan Kimball (12) and Jacob Putnam (10) all chipped in with double-digits as well.

Hunter Parks paced the Eagles with 16 points, while Ashton Kenison added 12. Groveton falls to 3-2 with the loss.

Groveton Eagles soar past Woodsville for fifth-straight win

GROVETON, NH – Host Groveton improved to a perfect 5-0 to start the 2024-25 season with a 59-37 victory over visiting Woodsville on Friday night.

The Eagles were led by the trio of Delaney Whiting (18 points), Makalyn Kenison (16) and Aspen Clermont (14). Paige Royer paced the Engineers with 15 points.

With the win, Groveton sits tied atop the Division IV standings with fellow North Country schools Littleton and Colebrook with 5-0 records. Woodsville falls to 4-3 on the season.

Littleton comes-from-behind to beat Gorham in overtime

LITTLETON, NH – The Littleton Crusaders overcame a 17-point halftime deficit to force overtime and earn a 64-59 OT victory over visiting Gorham on Friday night.

The Crusaders managed just 13 first-half points and found themselves trailing 30-13 at the break. Littleton came out for the third quarter firing as they poured in 30 points, including seven three-pointers, to cut the Huskies’ lead to four.

Littleton would send the game to extra time where they were victorious.

Sam Reagey led all scorers with a game-high 26 points for the Crusaders, while Daven Reagey (18) and Logan Poulton (11) both netted double-figures as well. Gorham was paced by Jack Saladino (25), Mason Roberge (16) and Isaac Langlois (15)

With the win, Littleton improves to 4-1 on the season, while Gorham falls to 3-2.

Littleton breezes by Gorham, improves to 5-0

LITTLETON, NH – Littleton improved to a perfect 5-0 on the season as the Crusaders cruised to a 71-10 victory over visiting Gorham on Friday night.

The Crusaders used a 25-3 first quarter to blow the game open and ease to the victory.

Littleton was led by a quartet of double-digits scorers: Leah Poulton (15), Ella Horsch (13), JuJu Bromley (10) and Rylee Hampson (10).

Alvirne defense closes out Pinkerton

DERRY, NH – Alvirne held host Pinkerton to a season-low 37 points en route to a 52-37 victory over the Astros on Friday night.

The Broncos led by just four after three quarters of play, 35-31, but outscored Pinkerton 17-6 in the final frame to come away with the victory.

Sammy DeWitt paced Alvirne with 13 points, while Gabe Conrow and Andrew Deely added 10 points apiece. The Astros were led by Brady Sullivan’s 14 points.

With the win, Alvirne improves to 3-1 on the season, while Pinkerton falls to 2-2.

Portsmouth starts fast, improves to 4-0

HAMPTON, NH – Portsmouth used a 25-10 first quarter to set the tone in a 73-52 victory at Winnacunnet on Friday.

The Clippers were led by 21 points from Isaiah Reis, while Derek Swartz (17), Ryan Swartz (16) and Anthony Ferola (12) all added double-digits as well.

Christian Chartier poured in a game-high 28 points for the Warriors.

With the win, Portsmouth improves to a perfect 4-0 on the season, while Winnacunnet falls to 1-3.

Strong start propels Windham past Spaulding

ROCHESTER, NH – Windham used a 32-17 first half to propel the Jaguars to a 63-56 victory at Spaulding on Friday night.

Leading the way for Windham was Jack Koutrobis with 17 points, while Tyler Jordan and Sam Roidoulis netted 13 points apiece. The Red Raiders were paced by Kyran Jean Pierre’s game-high 20 points and 17 from Marcel Rose.

With the win, Windham improves to 2-2 on the season, while Spaulding falls to 1-3.

St. Anselm defeats visiting Assumption

MANCHESTER, NH – St. Anselm improved to 5-1 in Northeast-10 Conference play with a 70-61 victory over visiting Assumption on Thursday night.

The Saints came out firing as they poured in 20 first-quarter points to take a nine-point lead after one, 20-11. The two teams then played even the rest of the way as St. Anselm held on for the win.

Melanie Hoyt led all scorers with a game-high 25 points for the Saints, while Tatum Forbes added 17. Marina Callahan paced the Greyhounds with 23 points.

With the win, St. Anselm improves to 8-3 on the season, while Assumption falls to 10-3 and 3-2 in NE10 action.

Bilolo leads Manchester Memorial past Salem

MANCHESTER, NH – Christian Bilolo poured in a game-high 30 points to lead Manchester Memorial to an 84-71 come-from-behind victory over visiting Salem on Friday night.

The Blue Devils dropped 29 points in the first quarter of play and led by 10 points. The Crusaders would battle back in the second frame to tie the game at the half, 40-40.

Memorial then unloaded with a 31 third-quarter points to blow the game open and hold on for the victory.

Jack Brooks and Jake Ornelas added 14 and 10 points, respectively, for the Crusaders. Salem was paced by 28 points from Brock James, 14 from Cooper Keenan and 12 by Carlos Cruz.

With the win, Memorial improves to 2-2 on the season, while Salem falls to 1-3.
