Goffstown wins sixth straight

The Goffstown girls pushed their win streak to six games with a 64-38 victory over visiting Nashua North on Friday night.

The Grizzlies were led by Ava Winterburn’s game-high 25 points, including 14 in the first quarter. The Titans were paced by 12 from Aiden Walker and 10 from Natalee McInerney.

Trinity wins at Spaulding

The Trinity boys went on the road and earned a 58-42 victory over host Spaulding in Rochester on Friday night. The Pioneers (3-3) snapped a three-game skid, while the Red Raiders (0-7) are still in search of their first win of the season.

Trinity’s Tyler Bike netted a team-high 18 points and Devohn Ellis added 17. Zander Walbridge led all scorers with a game-high 21 points for the Red Raiders.

Bedford blows past Concord

The undefeated Bedford Bulldogs (7-0) dominated Concord (3-4) from start to finish to earn a 59-22 win over the visiting Crimson Tide on Friday night.

The Bulldogs were paced by a game-high 21 points from Lana McCarthy and 17 from Kate Allard. Concord was led by Aidan Smalley’s nine points.

Cougars claw Owls

Derryfield jumped out to 14-6 lead after one and never looked back as the Cougars cruised to a 57-32 victory over visiting Timberlane on Friday night.

The Cougars were led by 14 points from Tia Ferdinando and 13 from Chloe Bremberg. Cassidy Powers led the Owls with 10 of her own.

Derryfield improves to 4-3 on the season, while Timberlane falls to 2-5.

Concord Christian pressure too much for Prospect

In a battle between two one-loss teams in Division III, Concord Christian flexed their muscle at Prospect Mountain and ran away with a 68-20 victory on Friday night in Alton.

The Lady Kingsmen pressure was too much for the Timberwolves as the Prospect offense was stymied all night long. CCA improves to 8-1, while the Timberwolves fall to 6-2 and have dropped two-straight.

CCA was paced by 22 points from Emma Smith and double digits from Megan Muir (14) and Sarah Muir (10). Ella Misiaszek led Prospect with nine points of her own.

Alvirne’s second-half surge downs Memorial

The Alvirne girls trailed Manchester Memorial 29-20 at the half, but rallied in the second half to come away with a 53-43 victory on Thursday night.

The Broncos were paced by 13 points from Paige McKinley and 10 apiece from Alyssa Scharn and Jamie O’Connor. Nyasia McKelvey led the Crusaders with 12 points, while Madison Pepra-Omani added 10 points of her own.

Saints down Cougars on the road

In a meeting between two of the top teams in Division III, St. Thomas went on the road and defeated Campbell, 76-62, on Thursday night.

A.J. Reinertson netted 26 points and Brady Rogers added 21 to pace the Saints to the victory. Will Mollica chipped in with 14.

The Cougars were led by a game-high 31 points from Colton Martel, while Austin McHugh tallied 12.

St. Thomas improves to 6-1 on the season, while Campbell falls to 6-3.
