Bundy leads Stevens past Conant, records 1000th point

Kiley Bundy poured in a game-high 21 points, including the 1,000th of her career, to lead Stevens to a pivotal 40-36 victory at Conant on Saturday evening in Jaffrey.

The first half featured two lop-sided quarters in a match-up between two middle-of-the-pack Division III squads. The Cardinals came out hot, leading 14-3 after the 1st quarter, but the Orioles responded by winning the 2nd quarter 16-5. It was all knotted at 19 at the intermission.

The third quarter, which featured a three-pointer by Bundy to reach her elusive milestone, was deadlocked at 11-11. The two teams were tied at 30 entering the final frame.

Two triples by Bundy and one by A Pelton sealed the deal in the 4th for Stevens as they went on to win by four, 40-36.

Pelton joined Bundy in double-digits with 12 of her own for the Cardinals. The Orioles were paced by 16 points from H Manley and 10 from L Hayes.

With the win, the two squads are now tied 7th in the D-III standings with identical 8-5 marks.

Fast start propels Pelham past Hollis-Brookline

Pelham jumped out to a 21-7 lead after the 1st quarter and never looked back as the Pythons rolled past Hollis-Brookline, 69-44, on Friday night.

Pelham was paced by a game-high 20 points from Olivia Todd, 14 from Sophia Guinazzo and 12 from Grace Riley. The Cavaliers were led by 15 points from Emily Tebbetts.

With the win, the Pythons improve to 7-4, while the Cavs fall to 5-5.

Undefeated Bedford blows past #3 Londonderry

Behind a game-high 24 points from Kate Allard, Bedford blew past visiting Londonderry, 74-34, on Friday night.

Annie Zink (14) and Lana McCarthy (11) both netted double digits for the Bulldogs as well. Londonderry was paced by nine points apiece from Brook Eacrett and Mia Giampa.

With the win, Bedford improves to 11-0, while Londonderry falls to 7-2.

Trinity downs Goffstown, wins fifth straight

Trinity jumped out to a 20-3 lead after the 1st quarter of play and never looked back as the Pioneers defeated Goffstown, 78-56, on Friday night in Manchester.

Trinity’s Shawn O’Neil led all scorers with a game-high 20 points, while Kevin Doherty (16), Devohn Ellis (15), Evan Dunker (13) all notched double-digits as well.

The Grizzlies were paced by 14 points from Xander McBournie and 12 from Noah Durham.

With the win, Trinity has now won five straight and improves to 8-3 on the season, while Goffstown falls to 5-5.

Farmington closes out Portsmouth Christian

Farmington outscored visiting Portsmouth Christian Academy by 10 in the 2nd half to close out the win, 68-56, on Friday night.

Demery Hadges led the way for Farmington with 25 points, while Shawn Murphy and Aiden Place added 13 and 12 points, respectively. PCA was led by a trio of 13-point scorers: Connor Hickey, Wade Michaud and Cai Summers.

With the win, the Tigers improve to 11-3 on the season, while the Eagles fall to 7-5.

Hot start fuels Farmington past PCA

Eighth-grader Shaylee DiPrizio poured in a career-high 26 points to lead Farmington past visiting Portsmouth Christian Academy, 68-54, on Friday night.

The Tigers came out the gates firing as they tallied 23 1st-quarter points, including six threes, and led by 14 after one.

Madi Ricker got the three-point barrage started in the first before Jaelyn Prosper connected on three triples of her own and DiPrizio added another. Anna Cardinal beat the buzzer at the end of the quarter to put a bow on the statement quarter by the Tigers.

The opening stanza surge by Farmington proved to be the difference as the Tigers went on to win by that 14-point margin.

Prosper had four threes on the night and tallied 14 points for the Tigers. PCA was paced by 17 points from Ava Buchanan.

With the win, Farmington improves to 10-4 on the season, while the Eagles had their five-game win streak snapped and fall to 8-5.

Undefeated Bedford blows past Portsmouth

Division I defending champ Bedford flexed their muscles on Wednesday night with a 98-73 victory over visiting Portsmouth.

The Clippers are now 7-2 on the season, third in the D-I standings, with their only losses coming to perfect Bedford & Pinkerton.

The Bulldogs sit tied atop the D-I standings with Pinkerton (10-0) and appear to be on a collision course with the Astros when the two heavyweights meet in Derry on Feb. 9th.

Robie drops 40, propels perfect Profile past Newport

The hits just keep on coming for undefeated Profile and prolific scorer Josh Robie. The senior sharpshooter poured in 40 points, including seven three-pointers, as the Division IV Patriots went on the road and defeated D-III Newport, 99-62, on Thursday night.

Robie netted 11 in the 1st quarter, 12 in the 2nd, 12 in the 3rd and seven in the 4th to come away with his 40-point performance. Profile also got an impressive 26 points from Alex Leslie and 17 from Cayden Wakeham.

The Tigers were led by 17 points from Aaron Fellow and 16 from Christian Forsythe.

With the win, the Patriots improve to a perfect 13-0 on the season, while Newport falls to 5-8.

Kearsarge starts strong, wins seventh straight

Kearsarge jumped out to a 19-7 lead after one quarter and led 37-16 at the half to cruise to a 55-41 victory over visiting Raymond on Thursday night.

The Cougars were led by 19 points from Noah Whipple and 13 from Eli Whipple, while Raymond was paced by Dre Duffaut’s game-high 21 points.

With the win, Kearsarge pushes its win streak to seven and improves to 10-3 on the season. The Rams fall to 6-5.
