Second-half surge sends Farmington past Sunapee

FARMINGTON, NH – Farmington trailed by six at the half, but outscored visiting Sunapee 45-18 in the second half to come away with a 72-51 victory on Tuesday night.

Noah Elwell lead the Tigers with a game-high 22 points, while Demery Hadges and Keltin Moulton added 18 and 15 points, respectively.

Sunapee was paced by 20 points from Brock Ringas and 15 from Nicholi Silver.

With the win, Farmington improves to 9-4 on the season, while Sunapee falls to 1-12.

Farmington flies past Sunapee

FARMINGTON, NH – Senior Madi Ricker and freshman Shaylee DiPrizio combined for 50 points to lead Farmington to an 80-45 victory over visiting Sunapee on Tuesday night.

The Tigers jumped out to a 30-9 lead as Ricker came out firing and connected on three triples in the first quarter alone. FHS never looked back and Ricker finished the game with 26 points and a career-high seven three-pointers. DiPrizio tallied 24 points.

Avianna Edmunds paced the Lakers with 16 points and Kimber Ramey added 12.

With the win, Farmington improves to 11-3 on the season, while Sunapee falls to 0-12.

Strong second-half surge sends Sunapee past Pittsfield

The Sunapee boys outscored Pittsfield 31-13 in the second half to erase a four-point halftime deficit and come away with the home victory on Tuesday night.

The Lakers were led by Brock Kangas (15 points) and Sam Kress (10), while the Panthers were paced by a game high 19 points from Brayden Pelletier and Justin Rivera (15).

With the win, Sunapee improves to 1-1 on the season, while Pittsfield was playing in its season opener.

Tschudin leads Sunapee past Farmington

Sunapee senior Liz Tschudin netted 17 points to lead the Lakers past Farmington, 38-23, on Monday night. The Lakers held the Tigers to just six points in the first half en route to the victory. The Tigers were led by 9 points from senior Makayla Lapanne and 8 points by freshman Anna Cardinal.

Farmington improves to perfect 4-0

Farmington’s defensive pressure was too much for Sunapee on Monday night as the Tigers came away with a 58-27 win. The Tigers held the Lakers to just two points in the first quarter and one point in the final stanza to come away with their fourth-straight win to start the season.

Seniors Jordan Berko (14 points) and Matt Savoy (13) both netted double-figures to pace the Tigers. Sunapee, who falls to 0-2 on the season, was led by Sam Flint’s 12 points.

PCA flies past shorthanded Sunapee

Behind a game-high 19 points from Ava Buchanan, the Portsmouth Christian Academy girls flew past a shorthanded Sunapee squad, 50-18, on Monday night in Dover. Hannah Dion (16 points) and Maddie West (10) also tallied double figures for the Eagles. PCA improves to 2-0 on the season, while the Lakers, playing without Liz Tschudin and Katelyn Claus, drop their season opener.
