Yellow Jackets earn come-from-behind overtime win

Pittsburg-Canaan erased a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to force overtime and come away with a 78-73 victory at Gorham on Friday night.

The Yellow Jackets boasted a quartet in double figures with Damon Jaimes (28), Caleb Umlah (17), Drew Petit (13) and Griffin Hurlbert (11). The Huskies were paced by Isaac Langlois (28), Brendan Saladino (18) and Max Grondin (10).

With the win, Pittsburg-Canaan improves to 2-3 on the season, while Gorham falls to 3-3.

Milford improves to 4-0 with win at Timberlane

The Milford Spartans pushed their perfect record to 4-0 on the season with a close victory at Timberlane, 46-41, on Friday night in Plaistow.

Lulu Maguire netted a game-high 15 points for the Spartans, while Avery Fuller and Shea Hansen chipped in with 12 and 11, respectively. Maia Parker led the Owls with 11.

Timberlane has now dropped two straight to even its record at 2-2.

Strong first half leads Lancers past Cardinals

Londonderry outscored visiting Bishop Guertin 17-4 in the first quarter and 11-3 in the second to roll to a 60-42 win on Saturday night.

The Lancers were led by a game-high 20 points from Sammie Sullivan, while Gemma Murray (18 points) and Brooke Eacrett (10) netted double figures as well. Leading the way for the Cardinals was Maggie Gallagher (13) and Thalia Drapeau (10).

With the win, Londonderry improves to 4-0 on the season, while Bishop Guertin falls to 1-2.

North remains perfect with win at Concord

Nashua North went on the road and defeated host Concord 63-41 on Thursday night.

Alize Roig Cortes led all scorers with a game-high 19 points for the Titans. Japhet Nduwayo, Logan Perkins and Cade Weaver all netted nine points apiece to pace the Crimson Tide.

With the win, North improves to a perfect 4-0 on the season, while winless Concord drops to 0-4.

Rams rally late to defeat Belmont

Raymond outscored Belmont 20-3 in the fourth quarter to earn a 46-37 come-from-behind victory over visiting Belmont on Thursday night.

The Rams trailed by six entering the final frame, but held the Red Raiders without a field goal over the final eight minutes to come away with the win.

Dre Duffaut led all scorers with a game-high 24 points for the Rams, including 14 in the 4th. The Red Raiders were paced by 15 points from Anakin Underhill.

With the victory, Raymond improves to 2-2, while Belmont falls to 2-2.

Blackbirds soar past Pioneers

Keene started slow, but finished strong as they went on the road to defeat Trinity, 53-33, on Thursday night in Manchester.

The Blackbirds trailed by three at the end of the first quarter, 15-12, but then put the clamps on the Pioneers. Keene outscored host Trinity 41-19 over the final three stanzas to come away with the victory.

Keene was led by Ivy Keating’s 14 points (4 three pointers), and Harper Zalaski (11 points). Trinity was paced by 13 points from Sadie Mungere and 10 points from Bella Santousosso.

With the win, the Blackbirds improve to 3-0 on the season. The Pioneers fall to to 0-4.

Lavoie leads Pinkerton past Exeter

Behind a game-high 32 points from Elizabeth Lavoie, Pinkerton cruised to an 84-51 victory over visiting Exeter on Thursday night.

Brooke Benz (12 points), Kaylee Dupuis (11) and Hayden Leccese (11) all netted double-digits for the Astros, while the Hawks were led by 16 from Jessica Melick.

With the win, Pinkerton improves to 2-0 on the season, while Exeter falls to 1-3.
