While we were away…

This week, we completed a complete overhaul and upgrade of our server to better serve our growing coverage. During our outage, we provided photo coverage of 17 games! These were all still viewable on our social media outlets, but we wanted to make sure they made it to the website.

Woodsville survives strong second-half by Gorham

Woodsville led by 13 points at the half and survived a strong second half by visiting Gorham to come away with a slim 55-53 victory over visiting Gorham on Friday night.

The host Engineers jumped out to a 13-8 lead after one quarter and later took a 29-16 lead to the locker room at the half. The Huskies came out firing to start the 3rd quarter as Isaac Langlois pumped in three trifectas in the frame to cut the Woodsville lead to four, 41-37.

Gorham won the final quarter, 16-14, but the Huskies’ come-back bid came up just short.

The Engineers were led by a game-high 23 points from Landon Kingsbury, while Ryan Walker (14) and Jack Boudreault (13) also added double digits. Gorham was paced by Langlois’ 18 points and 15 from Brendan Saladino.

With the win, Woodsville stretches its win streak to five games and improves to 9-2 on the season. The Huskies fall to 6-5.

Robie & Leslie pace Profile past Gorham

Seniors Josh Robie (27 points) and Alex Leslie (21) combined for 48 points to lead Profile past visiting Gorham, 70-55, on Monday night.

Cayden Wakeham also added 10 points for Profile, who improves to a perfect 7-0 on the season and moves into a three-way tie atop the Division IV standings with Derryfield and Littleton.

The Huskies (5-4) were led by 21 points from Isaac Langlois and 12 from Max Grondin.

Second-quarter surge propels Profile past Gorham

The Profile girls used a 22-8 second quarter to propel to a 47-38 victory over visiting Gorham on Monday night.

The Patriots led by just one after the first quarter, 7-6, but outscored the Huskies 22-8 in the second stanza to blow the game open.

Profile was led by 13 points from Maddie Koehler and 12 from Mya Brown. Gorham was paced by
Girouard’s 18 points and 10 from Godin.

With the win, the Patriots avenged their season-opening, one-point loss to Gorham and improve to 7-2 on the season. Gorham falls to 2-7 with the loss.

Gorham gets going early, cruises past Moultonborough

Gorham jumped out to a quick 25-8 lead after the first quarter of play and cruised to a 71-48 win over visiting Moultonborough on Friday night.

The Huskies used balanced scoring in the victory as they had four double-digits scorers: Isaac Langlois (19 points), Brendan Saladino (15), Jack Saladino (15) and Max Grondin (15). The Panthers were paced by 11 points apiece from Brodie Bacon and Ethan Tilton.

With the win, Gorham improves to 5-3 on the season, while Moultonborough falls to 3-4.

Moultonborough finishes strong at Gorham

Moultonborough entered the fourth quarter down two, 20-18, but the Panthers closed out the game on a 15-8 run to come away with a 33-28 victory at Gorham on Friday night.

Alicia Johnson led Moultonborough with 11 points, while the Huskies were paced by a game-high 15 points from Madison Girouard.

With the win, the Panthers have now won three of their last four to improve to 3-4 on the season, while Gorham falls to 2-6.

Gorham comes-from-behind to beat Colebrook

Colebrook jumped out to a 16-9 lead through the opening quarter of play, but host Gorham battled back to earn a 58-50 victory on Wednesday night.

Leading the way for the Huskies was Isaac Langlois (19) and Brendan Saladino (15), while the Mohawks were paced by a game-high 29 points from Kolten Dowse and 14 from Keenan Hurlbert.

With the win, Gorham improves to 4-3 on the season, while Colebrook has now dropped back-to-back outings and falls to 4-2.

Colebrook earns OT win at Gorham

Host Gorham erased an 8-point halftime deficit to force overtime, but visiting Colebrook was able to pull out the victory in the extra session, 66-63.

The Mohawks were led by a trio of double-digit scorers: Niomie Nadeau (24 points), Haley Rossitto (21) and Sammy Kuhn (11). The Huskies were paced by a game-high 32 points from Sarah Godin and 10 apiece from Lily Gorban and Madison Girouard.

With the win, Colebrook improves to 4-2 on the season, while Gorham falls to 2-5.

Yellow Jackets earn come-from-behind overtime win

Pittsburg-Canaan erased a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to force overtime and come away with a 78-73 victory at Gorham on Friday night.

The Yellow Jackets boasted a quartet in double figures with Damon Jaimes (28), Caleb Umlah (17), Drew Petit (13) and Griffin Hurlbert (11). The Huskies were paced by Isaac Langlois (28), Brendan Saladino (18) and Max Grondin (10).

With the win, Pittsburg-Canaan improves to 2-3 on the season, while Gorham falls to 3-3.
