BETHLEHEM – Profile used a 25-11 first half to propel the host Patriots to a 47-37 victory over visiting Farmington on Friday night in Bethlehem.
The Tigers struggled with the Patriots’ full court press in the first half as they managed to score just 11 points at the break.
Profile’s balanced scoring attack saw Evie Burger (15 points), Mya Brown (14) and Morgan Presby (10) all notch double figures. Farmington was paced by 8th grader Shaylee DiPrizio with 14 points and Anna Cardinal with 7.
The loss was Farmington’s first of the season, while Profile has won four-straight. Both teams are now 4-1.

Mitchell Roy has a plan. It is a four-year project to elevate the Profile High School boys basketball team from the Division IV cellar to the championship podium – something that has happened just once in school history (2004).
Roy got to be part of coach Kevin Bettencourt’s program at Endicott as a manager and then student assistant. The Gulls did well, advancing to three Commonwealth Coast Conference championship games and a NCAA Division III Sweet 16. There he was able to work with some tremendous New Hampshire players like Portsmouth’s Kamahl Walker, Pelham’s Keith Brown and Dover’s Ty Vitko.

Two-time Division IV defending champion Woodsville stymied Profile’s prolific offense on Friday night to earn a pivotal 55-43 victory over the previously unbeaten Patriots.
